Management Team

Kevin Kom, Manager of Manufacturing and Facilities

Kevin has more than 20 years experience in medical device manufacturing and was Affinity’s first employee.  He has been instrumental implementing lean manufacturing throughout the plant, developing process improvements, and managing zero equipment down time.  Kevin participates with the Affinity engineering team in product development projects, contributing his knowledge and experience of tool design and molding.  Prior to joining Affinity in 1997, Kevin was supervisor of facilities and molding at Tronomed which also manufactured medical cable assemblies.

Kevin, his wife and two children live in Mission Viejo, California.  When away from Affinity, much of Kevin’s time is spent with sports and gardening, being heavily involved with soccer and activities with his family.  Kevin is also an avid fisherman, taking any opportunity to enjoy his hobby.
